Detroit Chesed is a volunteer-driven, grassroots initiative with a simple goal: to extend a loving, supportive hand to our community whenever, wherever, and for whomever it's needed.
They’re first responders in times of crisis. A safety net for the vulnerable. A triage connecting those in need to the best communal resources available. And if those resources don't exist, they get to work on the problem ourselves.
After 6 years of bringing kindness into the homes of so many, Detroit Chesed is in urgent need of a home of its own.
Detroit Chesed now has the opportunity to purchase and renovate a new campus that will centralize all of their programs and services under one roof.
Once completed, this state-of-the-art campus would give them the space and functionality they need to serve the community with a level of efficiency, agility, and swiftness that they’ve been sorely lacking—enabling them to streamline operations, assist more families, and amplify impact on those who are currently serve.
